STONETOWN ARTISAN CHEESE
ST. MARYS, ON

Visit
Let us introduce ourselves! We are Hans and Jolanda Weber, owners of Stonetown Artisan Cheese, an on-farm cheese plant located in St. Mary's, Ontario. With our three children in tow, we immigrated in 1996 to begin a new life in Canada where we  started our own dairy farm. Having previously worked in the Swiss Alps, it was always our dream to produce delicious high quality cheese reminiscent of the magnificent Swiss Mountains and made from our own milk. With a profound commitment  to creating cheese of the highest quality, the support of our family, and the expertise of Ramon Eberle, a Master Cheese Maker from Switzerland, our humble dream became a reality. Our award winning hand-crafted alpine style cheese is made from our cows' fresh whole milk that is unpasteurized (thermalized instead) and has no additives. Our commitment to excellence is best reflected in the care we give to our Holstein cows. They live in a clean and comfortable free stall barn and enjoy the best feed of the land. This ensures that the milk is pure and natural, ready to be processed into a delicious handcrafted, farmstead cheese.

We at Farmstead Cheesehouse encourage you to visit Stonetown Artisan Cheese
to experience the scenic beauty surrounding their dairy farm, watch how the cheese is made, try some amazing cheese samples and enjoy the peace and quiet out in the country!!
